about

"Lily’s March" is by the Orcadian fiddler Douglas Montgomery (of The Chair and Saltfishforty fame), written for his daughter as an encouragement to walk. Owen plays this all by himself, mixing it up with R. Vaughan Williams’ "Linden Lea", which he considers one of the most beautiful tunes ever written. These are two of his favourite tunes and he has played them together for years.
